FNRS Postdoctoral Researcher (ULiège) & Assistant Professor (VUB)

I am an FNRS Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Liège (ULiège) and an Assistant Professor in Climate Modelling at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). I hold a Master’s degree in Geography (specializing in Climatology) and a PhD in Climatology from ULiège.

My research is dedicated to understanding the role of ice sheets within the polar climate system, particularly in the face of current climate change. I investigate complex interactions between ice dynamics, the atmosphere, and the ocean using coupled polar climate models. Furthermore, I am developing the integration of AI methods into these models to better account for these interactions in long-term climate projections and reduce associated uncertainties.
